What if I need to cancel?

Is there a deposit?

At this time, we do not. Instead of paying extra fees for our people to set up and tear down your event, you'd just build whatever time is needed into your reservation. All set up and breakdown is the responsibility of the renter.

Businesses may cancel a single reservation up to 7 days prior to the start time, minus a 20% service fee. Monthly recurring business reservations require only a 60-day notice before moving out.

Event reservations: Free cancellation with written notice 30 days or more prior to reservation. 50% of total reservation remains payable to The Collab for cancellations less than 30 days prior to reservation. No cancellations less than 14 days prior to reservation. You can read our full terms and conditions here.

We do not collect additional deposits. Business reservations are paid in full at the time of booking. Event reservations are paid in 2 parts, 50% at the time of booking and 50% 14 days prior to the event.

Can I tour the space first?

Absolutely! We encourage it. Visit the location specific pages to request a tour or go to "Request A Tour" in the main menu.

General Rules & FAQs

I'm a business booking a social event, which rate is for me?

Social events, like anniversary parties or corporate holiday celebrations, always fall under our event rates. Business rates are reserved for activities core to the business like classes, photography sessions or workshops.

Do you provide tables and chairs?

Absolutely! Our black rectangular tables come with black spandex tablecloths and we provide black metal chairs (no covers). The number of tables and chairs varies by location and is listed on each location's webpage.

Are there any other fees?

Aside from the hourly rate, a $60 cleaning fee is applied to all event rentals which includes our costs to clean the floors and bathrooms, sanitize surfaces and restock supplies. The cleaning fee is only applied to one-time business rentals if the event warrants cleaning or is 3 or more hours in length.

Are we allowed to decorate?

Yes, but decorations should be free standing and not attached to our walls or ceiling. We provide a backdrop stand for your convenience with rental. Glitter and confetti is not allowed in the spaces.

Can we have a DJ?

Rules regarding DJs vary by location. Please contact the location you'd like to book directly to inquire about DJs.
